Dear DotAsia Members,

The first draft of the DotAsia Board Elections Procedures (BEP) for the upcoming Board Elections had been posted for your comments and feedback at: https://www.dot.asia/board-elections-2022/.  Note that as explained in BEP2021 (https://www.dot.asia/policies/DotAsia-BoardElections2021_AmendedFINAL-COMPLETE-2021-01-25.pdf see Endnote), it is anticipated from this year onwards that two documents will be maintained, with the procedures being a policy document that may not be changed each year, and the details and dates published as a notice separately, which is anticipated to be updated each year.

The vacancies in the Board Elections 2022 for each Member category are:

• Sponsor Members: 4

• Co-Sponsor Members: 1

The timeline for the elections is as follows:

· December 27, 2021 (Mon) – Seating of the Board Election Committee

·  December 28, 2021 (Tue) – Nomination Period Begins (4 weeks)

·  January 25, 2022 (Tue) – Nomination Period Ends

·  January 30, 2022 (Sun) – Nominations Report sent to the Board

·  January 31, 2022 (Mon) – Voting Period Begins (2 weeks) (if necessary)

·  February 4, 2022 (Fri) – Call for Annual General Meeting (AGM)

·  February 14, 2022 (Mon) – Voting Period Ends

·  February 27, 2022 (Sun) – Annual General Meeting

·  February 27, 2022 (Sun) – New elected Board members assume office
