Thanks for the comments.

Noted on identifying non-traditional fora to also involve those who are
outside of the “circle”. This will have quite a different agenda/syllabus
from that which will involve participants from meetings such as APRICOT,
APrIGF etc.  The idea is also provided for in our ToR as well – (para 3.1)
“An APILP program can take the form of a full day intensive training course
stand alone or in conjunction with a local/national event (summer
school/workshop), covering political, legal, economic, socio-cultural,
technological and other dimensions of Internet governance within the context
of the AP regional imperatives."


While great for outreach, one challenge I foresee is how can ensure that
this will help us achieve our stated outcome of having participants of APILP
to gain knowledge on issues pertaining to the various issues and to lead
discussions in local/national/regional/international IG fora, and form
thought leadership on these issues from the AP perspective.  So we may have
to balance this by being quite selective of the fora, and in the meantime we
could start a list of possible events that we can consider, in addition to
events such as APRICOT, APrIGFs.
