The next APAC Space web conference will take place on Thurs, 8 September 2016 03:00 (UTC) / 11:00 (SGT), where we propose to continue discussion on “Update on Next Round of New gTLDs”, zooming into one of the Work Tracks. The proposed agenda is appended below. Appreciate any comments and ideas for the proposed discussion topic and agenda, particularly which Work Track you would like to discuss please.

2. Introduction to the issue by ICANN staff – Mary Wong, Senior Policy Director / Steve Chan, Senior Policy Manager, ICANN (15mins)

To recap, at the previous APAC Space web conference (https://community.icann.org/display/GSEAPAC/APAC+Space) which took place on 16 June 2016, the community was introduced to the New gTLD Subsequent Procedures Policy Development Process (PDP) where sub-teams have been formed to work on 5 work tracks (click on the links to find out more):

· Work Track 3: String Contention / Objections & Disputes

· Work Track 4: Internationalized Domain Names/Technical & Operations
