Hi Pam, Suggestions are fine. As mentioned though, we can add observers to the working party I think. Did you have chance to turn around a new draft with your suggestions? Pam, I know you like being accurate. But I just use that as a simple example (actually you can select anything more appropriate as an example). My point is, wherever is possible, we can implement cultural diversity. I don't expect the overall change over one night, so I just suggest starting do it from trivial things. 2. Agree! Edmon’s edit #1 - I suggest we drop this one as the Independent Examiner is targeting end of August to publish its final report. Also, the members of the Working Party were appointed by GNSO Stakeholder Groups and Constituencies while only SO/AC may appoint observes. Edmon’s edit #2: I tweaked the language a bit to read: We understand geographic region seems to have become a proxy for cultural diversity but the community is unlikely to reach consensus on how to measure cultural diversity. We therefore encourage the Independent Examiner to provide concrete suggestions towards implementing cultural diversity in its final report. All comments and feedback are welcome. Added a sentence to section 4: a. As a simple example, the immediate addition of Asian participation to the GNSO Review Working Party could serve as a commitment towards diversity. 2. Added a sentence to section 5: a. We encourage the independent review team to provide concrete suggestions towards implementing cultural diversity to the processes. Also as discussed during our conference call this morning, this serves as a last call for APAC Space participants on this response to the comment period for the draft independent review report on GNSO (https://www.icann.org/public-comments/gnso-review-draft-2015-06-01-en). If no objections by end of day Friday, July 17, 2015, we will proceed to submit the response in the name of APAC Space. Looking forward to your comments and support.
